GLLI is open to all high school, middle school and club teams (U13, U16 and U19). Both Men's and women's teams will be participating in one of three levels of competition.
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan - Midway between Chicago and Detroit on Interstate I-94. Within a six hour drive of almost every major Midwest city.
Competition Levels: All teams will be slotted into one of three levels: A, B, and C based on experience and quality of application. Number of teams accepted will vary based on strength of entries.
Paperwork:: Completion of College Coach's Player Profile Form for every High School and Club U16 and U19 teams is required. Signed Waiver of Liability by each participant is required. Medical release forms are required for all players participating in the tournament and must be produced at check-in. Failure to provide this information at the time requested may result in disqualification of the team.
Games: Each participating team will play a minimum of three full-length games; Girls: two 25 minute halves, running clock, 5 minute halftime, Boys: four 12-minute quarters, running clock, 5 minute halftime, 1 minute qtr breaks. These games are scheduled to begin on Saturday morning, June 28th and continue through Sunday midday. For all brackets requiring a championship game, these games will be played Sunday afternoon. If weather conditions dictate, the tournament committee reserves the right to shorten or cancel games, as necessary, without rebate of application fees.
Awards: Individual awards for each member of the Championship and Finalist teams in each division, maximum of 25 per team (including coaches).
Application: All applications are submitted online via the Online Application Form. It is imperative that this is completed accurately and provides specific information on all teams wishing to participate. Please complete the Online Application Form, in detail, in its entirety. With everyone's cooperation we can ensure that all teams participating will meet only equal competitors.
Application Deadline: Applications are due May 31, 2008. Applications entered after the May 31st deadline will be considered on a space available basis. Only Online Applications will be accepted.

Housing: Hotel reservations are available through our Official Housing Service, Premier Sports Events. This service is being provided to ease the search for hotel accommodations in the Kalamazoo area. They have secured tournament room blocks at hotels that are conveniently located to the fields. Please contact them as soon as possible to ensure availability.

College Coaches: All coaches from across the country have been invited to attend our event. Player Profiles Booklets will be compiled for the attending college coaches. Completion of the College Coach Player Profile Form by June 1st is required for all High School and U16 and U19 Club teams.
If you wish to participate in the 2008 GLLI Tournament, please complete the Online Application Form in its entirety, submit it online and return a copy of it with your entry fee of $600 (US$). Please make all checks payable to: GLLI Tournament 2008. Your application MUST BE ENTERED ONLINE and your check POSTMARKED by May 31, 2008 to be considered for participation.
Applications entered after June 1st will automatically be placed on the waiting list. Applications without entry fee will NOT be accepted.
